Google’s Chrome Canary version on Android recently added a new flag named Enable ‘Google Play Inline Update Flow,’ which if enabled doesn’t require you to go to the Google Play Store to update your Chrome Canary app, you can do that in the app, much like how you update your Chrome browser on the desktop.
As per the description of the flag, “When this flag is set instead of taking the user to the Google Play Store when an update is available, the user is presented with an inline flow where they do not have to leave Chrome until the update is ready to install.”
The new feature, obviously, is under testing phase and currently available to those using the Chrome Canary. If you are one of those, then you can enable the feature right now by following the below steps.
